Allergen and Cross Contact Notice
Food allergies can cause serious or life-threatening reactions. Customers must use this notice together with the ingredient and allergen information shown for the selected meal.
Shared kitchen warning
Set The Table prepares food in a shared commercial kitchen and uses shared storage, preparation areas, cookware, utensils, equipment, and service surfaces. The kitchen handles milk, eggs, fish, Crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans, sesame, and other ingredients that may cause reactions. Even when a meal does not intentionally contain a listed allergen, cross-contact may occur. Set The Table cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or meal.
Ingredient information
Set The Table will identify known major allergens in a meal using current recipes and supplier information. Recipes, brands, and supplier formulations may change. Customers must review the allergen information each time they order. An advisory statement does not replace Set The Table’s obligation to use reasonable food-safety and labeling practices.
Customer responsibility
A customer with a food allergy, celiac disease, or another serious dietary restriction should contact Set The Table before ordering. Set The Table may be unable to accommodate a restriction safely and may decline a modification when cross-contact risk cannot be controlled. Website chat, automated assistants, photographs, and informal menu descriptions must not be used as the sole basis for an allergy decision.
Emergency response
If a customer believes an allergic reaction is occurring, the customer should seek emergency medical help immediately. Do not wait for a response from Set The Table. After addressing the emergency, report the event to Set The Table so the business can preserve records, investigate ingredients and preparation, and take appropriate corrective action.
Unable to complete delivery
If a handoff cannot be completed, the driver will call or text the customer, wait up to five minutes when it is safe to do so, and continue the route. Set The Table may make one end-of-route courtesy attempt when time, food safety, and routing permit. A courtesy reattempt is not guaranteed. A same-zone correction may be accepted only when it adds no more than approximately ten minutes to the route and does not delay other customers.
Proof of delivery and care after handoff
Set The Table may record delivery time, status, recipient name, safe-drop location, and a photograph that avoids unnecessary personal information. After a direct handoff or documented safe drop, the customer is responsible for prompt receipt and safe storage. Perishable food should be eaten promptly or refrigerated within two hours, or within one hour when the surrounding temperature is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Severe weather and events outside reasonable control
Set The Table may delay, modify, or cancel service when severe weather, road conditions, power loss, facility closure, government action, or another event outside reasonable control makes fulfillment unsafe or impracticable. Set The Table will notify affected customers and provide a refund, credit, reschedule, or other lawful remedy appropriate to the circumstances.
