Pickup and Delivery Policy
Set The Table provides scheduled lobby pickup and limited-zone delivery. Times are appointment windows rather than guarantees of an exact minute. Availability is confirmed at checkout.
Scheduled pickup
- Pickup is available only at Continental Commissary Kitchen, 260 Azalea Road, Mobile, Alabama 36609, at the time selected or confirmed for the order.
- A Set The Table representative must be onsite to provide access. Customers may use the lobby for the scheduled handoff but may not enter food-production areas.
- There is no walk-in ordering, dine-in service, or unscheduled pickup.
- The customer should bring the order confirmation and may be asked to verify the customer name or order number.
- If the customer expects to be late, the customer must contact Set The Table promptly. Food will be held only as long as food-safety requirements and facility rules permit.
Delivery windows
The approved delivery windows are 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Central Time. Each window has limited address capacity. Traffic, weather, access restrictions, and order volume may affect the arrival time within the selected window. Set The Table will send an update when a material delay is known.
Delivery areas and fees
Delivery is available only to the service areas and ZIP codes enabled at checkout. The applicable delivery fee appears before payment. An address outside the enabled service area cannot be accepted for delivery. Pickup may remain available after a delivery window reaches capacity if meal and pickup capacity remain.
Handoff choices
The customer must select one of the available handoff methods: direct handoff to the customer, handoff to a named authorized person, or delivery to a customer-approved safe location. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the chosen location is lawful, accessible, protected from animals and weather, and suitable for a perishable food delivery.
Unable to complete delivery
If a handoff cannot be completed, the driver will call or text the customer, wait up to five minutes when it is safe to do so, and continue the route. Set The Table may make one end-of-route courtesy attempt when time, food safety, and routing permit. A courtesy reattempt is not guaranteed. A same-zone correction may be accepted only when it adds no more than approximately ten minutes to the route and does not delay other customers.
Proof of delivery and care after handoff
Set The Table may record delivery time, status, recipient name, safe-drop location, and a photograph that avoids unnecessary personal information. After a direct handoff or documented safe drop, the customer is responsible for prompt receipt and safe storage. Perishable food should be eaten promptly or refrigerated within two hours, or within one hour when the surrounding temperature is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Severe weather and events outside reasonable control
Set The Table may delay, modify, or cancel service when severe weather, road conditions, power loss, facility closure, government action, or another event outside reasonable control makes fulfillment unsafe or impracticable. Set The Table will notify affected customers and provide a refund, credit, reschedule, or other lawful remedy appropriate to the circumstances.
